The building itself is about 30 years old, and was built with a full, walkout basement. The main floor has an open living, dining and kitchen area, as well as a four-piece bathroom and two bedrooms. The basement has a large sitting area, a third bedroom, a half bathroom, a laundry room and a storage area.
The kitchen is a full, modern space with fullsized stove and fridge, double sink, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, glassware and flatware. The tap water is safe for drinking, cooking, and all other uses.
The larger of the two upstairs bedrooms has a set of twin bunkbeds and a single twin bed. The smaller bedroom upstairs has a queen bed, and a crib in what used to be the closet. Both rooms have dressers for clothes storage, and the larger room has a closet.
The bedroom in the basement has a modern queen air mattress with memory foam on a sturdy base, and several dressers. For extra sleeping space, the open sitting area in the basement has a queen-sized futon couch that can easily be converted to an extra bed. Down at the waterfront, the bunkie has a set of twin bunkbeds in it.
The main washroom was redone two years ago, and boasts a new vanity, new toilet, new flooring, new walls and a new shower head. The tub is a large, standard size. The half bath in the basement is a standard toilet and sink setup.
For those who may be more adventurous, there is also a functioning outhouse halfway between the cottage and the beach.
